This year I’m happy to offer Mother’s day mini photo sessions again to celebrate motherhood and babies.

A mini session is a perfect gift for Mother’s day. A unique opportunity to capture and preserve a mother’s love and a special connection between a child and his mommy.

Many moms (including myself) often feel overwhelmed, and exhausted, and don’t feel like being photographed.

I’d like to challenge you to reveal yourself for the photos with your baby. Because while you postpone a photo session waiting for a better version of yourself, your little one will change so fast. You won’t know.

Being a mother of five, I want to encourage you and to ask you not to wait.

I know you enjoy every second with your baby but they grow up very quickly.

One stage after another. Newborn. Rolling over, crawling, walking, talking, preschool, kindergarten… you name it.

So today I want to challenge you to celebrate this moment. The one you are having right now.

We have sweet things to cherish in the past, we have hopes and fears about the future. But now… this is when life is actually happening.

What is “Mommy and me” photo session?

Mother’s Day mini photo session is designed to capture the connection, love, and sweet moments that you want to remember forever. Breastfeeding welcome.

Who is this session for?

“Mommy and me” mini session is for moms and children only.

Ages 4 months and older. Sorry, no newborns. All babies/children per household are welcome. 🙂

Mothers from Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey chose to be photographed at our studio for the Mother’s day.

What’s included?

Up to 20 min.

5 digital full-size images through the online gallery

Beautiful dresses are provided upon request.

1 set-up per session.

What to wear for a “Mommy and me” photo session?

Moms are more than welcome to use one of the studio gowns/dresses for their session or to bring their own outfits. Coordinating colours look great, both in the same colour but in different shades and in different complimentary colours. No logos or busy patterns. Simple neutral colour outfits also work great. Textures add interest. A little bit of natural make-up will benefit the images. However, it’s optional.

Additional details.

Please bring a favourite toy and a snack for your little one.

Sessions are spaced with 20 min between them. It’s recommended that you arrive 5-10 min before your time slot. You can wait outside or in the car and be perfectly on time for your session. This will allow enough time to capture the sweet moments.
