When to book a newborn photography session?
Ideally the newborn session should be booked during pregnancy. It’s a good idea to plan it ahead for a stress free and pleasant experience. As soon as you book your date, I start to plan your one of a kind newborn photography session!
Three reasons to book a newborn photography session during pregnancy:
1. Securing your spot and your ideal day for photography.
The session date is choosen depending on your due date and takes place when a baby is about 7-14 days old. We will confirm or adjust the day if needed depending on your baby’s arrival. You will need to contact me within first few days after birth to set the best day.
2. Considering maternity photography and capturing your belly.
Pregnancy is a relatively short period of time in a woman’s life. 9 months of pregnancy stages pass by very fast. Maternity photography is a great way to keep this memory for you. Once there was a baby inside your womb and suddenly you are a mama holding your baby.
3. Personalizing your unique newborn photography session.
Take your time to plan your photography session ahead (colour scheme, special requests, etc.). I will ask you to fill in the questionnaire where you will mention your newborn photography preferences. Sometimes a phone consultation will be needed to make sure all the expectations are heard and met.
